Greenville-based web marketing firm Merge has been selected by TEDxGreenville to provide strategic enhancements to their existing website and to digitally promote their High School Challenge program.

"We are thrilled to be a part of this unique group of forward- thinkers in the Greenville community," said Jeff Carver of Merge.  "The High School Challenge in particular is exciting because of the opportunity to engage our youth artistically with an open call to design the art that will be used for the 2011 event in March."

TEDxGreenville was formed in 2010 by a group of Technology, Entertainment and Design enthusiasts from around the community who came together with the goal of bringing educational and inspirational TED events to Greenville. In March of 2010, TedxGreenville hosted its first self-organized event to a sold-out crowd at CU-ICAR.

On March 18, 2011, the group's second annual event, Inspiring Our Future, will be held in downtown Greenville at the Peace Center' s Gunter Theatre and outdoor Amphitheatre.  The event will be an upbeat, interactive brainstorming session among thousands of Upstate residents including artists, CEO's university professors, musicians and design professionals.
