Merge is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to conduct outbound and inbound prospecting, qualifying and appointment setting for Merge's sales team.
Overview
The Sales Coordinator’s objective is to set appointments for Merge’s sales team. Outbound prospecting by email marketing and cold calling will be conducted by the Sales Coordinator, as will the handling of inbound phone calls and emails of prospect requests. The Sales coordinator will qualify the prospect, and then set appointments for the Merge sales team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of being able to prospect (which will include some cold calling, email marketing, inbound calls and emails, CRM management), set appointments, meet quotas and grow sales.
Duties, Responsibilities and Skills
- Work off web-based CRM to manage prospect lists
- Conduct outbound email marketing and cold calling to qualify prospects
- Field incoming prospect calls and emails and qualify prospects
- Set qualified prospect appointments for Merge’s sales team
- Develop opportunities by answering general questions and schedule appointments for Merge sales management
- Provide sales support as needed (proposals, PowerPoint, estimates, etc.)
- Keep daily record of calls and emails
- Assist sales management in conveying prospect needs to account executives and their teams
- Take the initiative to thoroughly learn the market as well as Merge’s products and services
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-years experience in service sales support (prospecting and appointment setting) role
- Experience with software/marketing/web services preferred
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively with C-Level prospects
- High level of computer and web literacy
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be self-directed and self-motivated
- Excellent phone presence, human relations skills, including written and verbal communications and group presentation skills are required
- Must have the ability to work independently while still contributing to the over-all team objective
